Bharatpur is on the wish list of any bird photographer and my whish came true during the 26th Jan 18 long weekend when I booked myself with Mumbai Traveler for their Birding expedition to Bharatpur

The adventure all started from Mumbai when I realized on the day of my departure that I didn’t have a train ticket booking for August Kranti. Didn’t have option but to book a ticket at the counter and bunch along with other folks from the group hoping that TC would allot a berth midway. But was not so lucky and had to spread my bedding on the floor and spend the night but who cared I was reaching Bhartpur anyway.
Day 1
Day 2 (Chambal River)
Day 3
Day 4
This year they due to water scarity the no fo birds was just half what you usually find in Bharatpur. Is it ? More the reason to visit the birders paradise known as Bharatpur
